then and now

I am maybe 3 years old in this picture and it is the only picture I have of myself at a birthday party.  

We did not celebrate birthdays in WCG.  My first birthday party after this one was when I turned 30.

I am at my grandmother's house in this picture, and on the back there are notes that say I was 5 years old.  

I am thinking this was pre-WCG.

This is the first Christmas tree I bought after being disfellowshipped.  

It took me several years to feel ok about purchasing one, but when I did, I purchased a huge tree.  

This is my only picture with Santa.  

This was in the late 80s and was in New York when I was visiting my brother.
